Laurie Coker and the team did an incredible job for me. Every email that required legal advice was responded to in a timely manner (24-48 hours). The paralegal assigned to my case was outstanding. Each declaration was exceptionally well written and effectively articulated my point of view on each issue. Michelle and her team are amazing. My name is Jose Quintana. My little boy's mom has never really been present in his life. But one day she arrived with a police officer and took our son from me. Due to an old court order, Mom was basically entitled to a 50/50 timeshare. She never used her time though, she only decided to after she was ordered to pay child support. There was nothing I could do, it didn't matter to the officer that my son had barely even seen his mom in months. My little boy was forced to go to a stranger's home, this caused us great pain. My family adore my son. This has been a difficult year for us. Fortunately, Michelle took my case. Her team is compassionate. They listened to my grievances and offered me great advice. Michelle never sugarcoated my odds. She is realistic and explained that as a man, I was going to be fighting an uphill battle. The courts always lean towards the mother. It doesn't matter that I've raised my boy alone since he was 2 years old. The court mediator sided with my ex wife. I don't understand how someone who claims to work in the best interests of children can be so irresponsible but despite this setback, Michelle did everything to plead my case to the judge. While speaking to the judge, she was extremely persistent and thorough. We had to do our court appearance via telephone due to covid. Despite terrible interference over the phone, Michelle remained composed and even managed to make the judge laugh! She is the greatest lawyer. Thanks to her hard work and professionalism, we received a favorable outcome at court. It felt like a miracle when the judge threw out the mediator's recommendation and gave us a much, much more reasonable order! My little boy is relieved and we're happy that he was spared anymore unnecessary pain. I cannot thank Michelle enough, nor can I recommend her enough. When the situation seemed hopeless, she found a way.
